Premium European leather goods from Switzerland and Germany. The flex tree and the spring tree with recessed stirrup bars are exclusive to the industry. Very high standards in selection of raw materials and in craftsmanship have given the Courbette name high regard around the world, recommended by riders, trainers, police departments and cavalry units.

The gusseted WOOL-FLOCKED panels have a wide and deep channel to protect the spine and promote air circulation. These panels are shock absorbing, move with the horse, and distribute the rider's weight evenly.

We use only the finest quality smooth leather, vegetable tanned and aniline dyed... soft and supple, yet tanned for durability, long a Courbette trademark.

Riders have enjoyed our extremely popular Alpina close contact saddle for several years. Now we offer the new ALPINA EXTRA to meet the needs of taller riders. This new saddle design was created in response to many requests from tall riders.

This is the same saddle as our No. S207SP Alpina close contact saddle but with a longer and more forward flap design. The EXTRA version is perfect for tall riders, riders with long legs and anyone who shows in a rather straight leg.

It features the same knee rolls in the front as our S 207SP standard design, and has small jumping blocks on velcro in the back. The rear blocks can easily be removed or repositioned to suit your preference.

The AROSA

AROSA ... The Show Jumping Saddle With Flair!

Excellence in performance begins with a well-balanced saddle. Our new AROSA, the Alpina counterpart, is in a class by itself. Today's athletic demands of top level jumping require a balanced seat, comfort for horse and rider, and confidence in your equipment. Although there are many saddles on the market, there are only a precious few that meet these important requirements - and our Alpina and AROSA belong to that category!

The AROSA is a contemporary performance saddle built for aggressive jumping. It is handcrafted by skilled saddle makers in our own factory in Switzerland. It is designed with a wider seat, our SOFTEST yet. The FRENCH STYLE flaps are slightly shorter, but more forward in the knee area than the Alpina, to allow the rider to master the most difficult jumps and show combinations. Position and security are further enhanced by correctly placed JUMPING BLOCKS, a small thigh block in the front and a rear block mounted on velcro for easy removal or repositioning. The AXXIS

Axxis design features include our flexible E-Motion spring tree with memoryflex AWD panels which adapt to fit most breeds.

Soft grippy top grain leather with an "Easy Care" finish. Extra-soft seat padding and attractive padded knee areas add to the contemporary look of this close contact saddle.

White stitching highlights the Newmarket color, and matching brown stitching blends in with the Coffee color.

Jumping block system consists of small front thigh blocks and rear blocks mounted on velcro for easy removal or repositioning.

The BERNINA & BERNINA JUNIOR

Input from many leading Dressage riders has made us come up with something very special !

Our BERNINA and BERNINA "JUNIOR" - our first Dressage saddle for young riders - find a perfect niche between our line featuring the revolutionary E-Motion system and the traditional line built on our "Federbaum" spring tree.

The E-MOTION spring tree is designed for the horse's physique and always conforms to the true shoulder angles. This enhances the performance, as the horse is able to more freely use its full range of motion.

The hand flocked gusseted WOOL PANELS with a wide and deep channel distribute the weight evenly and eliminate pressure points. This allows the horse to work from behind and through his back to achieve the desired rounded outline.

For the BERNINA'S, we use the very finest, full grain leather, soft and supple to the touch. Exceptional durability, long a Courbette trademark, is therefore guaranteed. The supportive deep seat with a narrow twist affords the ultimate comfort and balance, and facilitates a smooth transition to the flaps.

Anatomically sculpted thigh blocks offer security and support a proper sitting position. Our new stabilizing billet strap design prevents saddle slippage.
